Flourishing agency helps garden centre website to blossom

With an existing website already generating significant sales, Jackson’s Nurseries in Staffordshire were looking to enhance their offering without damaging their SEO and turnover. Although the existing site performed well, it was difficult to navigate and problematic to manage. After realising that they needed to stay ahead of the competition in terms of functionality and design, as well as sales, Jackson’s approached Lesniak Swann, Staffordshire’s leading integrated communications agency, to completely redesign the site.

Lesniak Swann have more than doubled the size of their web/eCommerce department this year, meaning that Jackson’s could benefit from the technical know-how and strategic thinking of the fully integrated team to help them achieve their own business growth.

The result is a site that has a streamlined purchasing process, reassuring and inspiring confidence in those visitors who are unsure about online shopping. The new site also includes additional features to help buyers select their ideal plants and seek gardening advice. The quality of the off-line product is reflected in the new design, which is both aesthetically attractive and functionally superior, with a bespoke Content Management System that allows the team at Jackson’s to manage the site themselves.

The new website is due to be launched fully in the New Year, and the beta site is already taking orders and performing well.

Jacksons Nurseries grow very wide range of plants and stock everything needed for the garden at our Garden Centre on Thorney Edge Road, Bagnall in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Our fantastic sales team offer expertise and advice only available from nurserymen and professional growers.
